The position is responsible for providing administrative support to the Supply Chain department and reports to the Supply Chain Manager. The Operations Coordinator works with batch records, filling procedures, labelling, and then reviewing and scanning them into company systems. This role also provides support for the Customer Service and Logistics areas as required. The position may work closely with any department from time to time, depending upon the task to be accomplished.
This individual must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in ways that foster good relationships with vendors, customers, co-workers, and supervisors, while achieving and enhancing performance standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Participates in review of batch records and filling/weighing procedures before production.
- Prepares/reviews finished, stock, and raw-material labels.
- Participates in review of batch records after production and makes inventory adjustments where applicable.
- Assists with physical inventory counts for both month end and annual inventory.
- Retains and destroys records according to established company requirements.
- Provides support for the Customer Service and Logistics areas as required.
- Handle any paperwork passing through and/or generated by the department as required.
- Provides reports as required by the Supply Chain Manager.
- Uses discretion and maintains confidentiality of information.
- Maintain a well-organised office system.
- Assists in updating WO status for open work orders and stock transfer orders.
- Other duties as assigned by the Supply Chain Manager.
